KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Friends University senior Silva Avakian has been selected as an NAIA Women's Tennis All-American for the third time in her career, the national office has announced.

A third-team 2026 All-America performer, Avakian once again anchored the Falcons No. 1 singles and doubles position this season. The Pasadena, Calif. native went 18-2 in singles matches this season, with a 14-7 doubles mark.

The now two-time KCAC Player of the Year, Avakian finished the season ranked No. 18 in the final Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) singles rankings.

Avakian helped the Falcons post an 8-7 overall record this season and qualify for the KCAC postseason tournament as the seventh seed with a 7-5 conference mark.
