WICHITA, Kan. – Friends University freshman Jenson Boyce has collected his first career KCAC Men's Golfer of the Week award, the conference office announced today (Apr. 14). All KCAC Player of the Week awards are sponsored by Athletic Solutions.
Boyce shot three under par over the final two rounds to finish at -2 overall and second individually to help the No. 10-ranked Falcons post a top three team finish at this past week's Bethany College Classic.
The Falcons have won four tournaments this season and posted a runner-up finish on three occasions.
Boyce and the Falcons are currently preparing to defend their three straight KCAC tournament titles next week at the conference championship (Apr. 20-22) in Garden City, Kan.
