Bullhead City, Ariz. – In a highly competitive field that featured 10 NAIA Top 25 teams and two more teams receiving votes, the No. 5-ranked Friends University Falcons came in 12th at The Battle in Bullhead City, Ariz this week.
No. 1-ranked Keiser University (+15) won the event, followed by Hastings College and No. 13-ranked Texas Wesleyan University (+21) tied for second. OUAZ (+25) and No. 3-ranked Oklahoma City University (+28) rounded out the top five.
Laken Matthews finished a team-high 11th for the Falcons at +4, followed by Gabriele Romani in 16th with a score of +6.
Trinton Nobles (+13) came in 47th, while Grant Waggoner (+25) was 83rd and Jack Cubitt (+52) finished 98th overall in the competitive field.
The Falcons will next be in nearby Newton, Kan. for the Bethany College Classic on Apr. 6-7 at the Sand Creek Station.
