The Friends defense was solid behind her, allowing just a handful of baserunners and committing only one error on the day. On offense, the Falcons wasted no time setting the tone, with Elena Montoya leading the charge at the plate. Montoya crushed two doubles and drove in three runs, providing plenty of support for Ormiston. Becca Dunn and Teagan Moreno each chipped in with an RBI, while Tamara Lozoya added two RBIs of her own.
