York, Neb. - Friends opened the doubleheader in explosive fashion, unleashing a 20-run offensive onslaught, their highest scoring output since tallying 25 runs at York in 2023. The Falcons poured on 15 runs in the fourth inning alone, matching the program's largest single-inning total since scoring 15 at Stephens (Mo.) back in 2015.

Every starter contributed in the rout, with Morgan Tabert, Priscilla Mora, and Jayden Estabrook all notching multiple RBIs. Riley Wertz led the charge with a homer and six RBIs, while Elena Montoya also homered and scored three runs. On the mound, Wertz and Jenna Ormiston combined for a 3-hit shutout. Wertz struck out seven in three innings to earn the win, and Ormiston followed with two hitless frames.

The Falcons didn't slow down in Game 2, cruising to a 19-0 run-rule win to complete the sweep. Friends racked up 19 hits in five innings, fueled by home runs from Elena Montoya, Priscilla Mora(2), and Alex Vick. Jayden Estabrook and Vick both drove in three runs, while Montoya and Mora continued their tear with two RBIs apiece. Every starter again reached base as Friends overwhelmed York's defense.
