Joplin, Mo. – The Friends University Women's Golf Falcons came in third at the Evangel Fall Invitational that wrapped up today (Oct. 7) at the Twin Hills Country Club in Joplin, Mo.
The Falcons finished at +109, three strokes behind Evangel University and six shots behind top finisher Kansas Wesleyan University.
Victoria Hofmann posted a solid runner-up showing at +14, just two strokes behind individual winner Catherine Rhoads of Evangel.
Lindsay McBride (+22) came in tied for third and Taylor Price (+36) finished 11th for the Falcons.
Rylin Wells (+38) was tied for 12th and Charleigh Haskins (+46) posted an 18th place finish.
Next up for the Falcons is the KCAC Match Play event on Oct. 20-21 in Dodge City, Kan. that will wrap up the fall portion of the schedule.
