WICHITA, Kan. – Junior Victoria Hofmann finished on top of the individual leaderboard to help the Friends University Falcons post a runner-up finish at their Friends Spring Invite this week at the Tallgrass Golf Club in Wichita.
Hofmann (+19) fended off Kansas Wesleyan's Chaney Littell (+20) by one stroke to claim the individual title, while KWU won the team championship with a +130, 16 strokes ahead of the second place Falcons.
Lindsay McBride (+27) came in fourth for Friends individually, with Rylin Wells and Taylor Price each finishing tied for 15th at +50.
Hannah Tri (+57) was 19th, while Hannah Doremus (+90) competed as an individual for the Falcons and came in 26th.
Friends will next compete at the Bethany College Classic on Apr. 6-7 at the Sand Creek Station in nearby Newton, Kan.
