Hofmann named KCAC Women’s Golf Player of the Year; McBride earns second-team nod

WICHITA, Kan. – Friends University junior Victoria Hofmann has been selected as the KCAC Women's Golf Player of the Year and has a earned a first-team All-KCAC honor, the conference office has announced. Junior Lindsay McBride also received All-KCAC second-team recognition.

A top contributor since arriving on campus, Hofmann has earned six career KCAC Player of the Week awards and is now a two-time All-KCAC performer.

This season, Hofmann, a native of Frankfurt, Germany, has won two individual titles and posted four top three finishes with an average score of 81.3.

An Edmond, Okla. native, McBride has recorded a pair of top three finishes this season while producing an average score of 84.3 for the Falcons.

Additionally, Taylor Price was selected as the Falcons Champion of Character recipient.

At last week's KCAC Championship, Hofmann recorded a runner-up individual finish to help the Falcons come in third as a team to wrap up the 2025-26 campaign.
