KANSAS – For the second time this season and eighth time of her standout career, Friends University senior Victoria Hofmann has been voted as the KCAC Women's Golfer of the Week, announced today (Oct. 6) by the conference office. All KCAC Player of the Week awards are sponsored by Athletic Solutions.

In a tournament that featured five of the top 10 NJCAA Women's Golf programs in the latest rankings (June 8), Hofmann finished tied for 29th individually to help the Falcons post a top-10 team finish at Battling in the Desert in Hobbs, N.M. this past week.

The 2025-26 KCAC Women's Golf Player of the Year, Hofmann shot +19 overall, going +6 in both the second and third rounds after shooting +7 in the first round.

Hofmann and the Falcons will next be in action at the Evangel Fall Invite on Oct. 12-13 at the Bill & Payne Stewart Golf Course in Springfield, Mo.

Friends women's golf head coach Scott Moshier on Hofmann's latest achievement:

"Once again, our entire Team is incredibly proud to see one of our own recognized as the KCAK Women's Golfer of the Week!

Congratulations, Vic!

Victoria continues to raise the standard—not only with her golf game, but with her commitment, leadership, work ethic, and determination to become better every single day. She understands that success doesn't happen overnight. It is built through the daily choices to work harder, stay committed, embrace challenges, and take advantage of every opportunity.

But what makes this recognition even more special is that Vic would be the first to tell you that she doesn't do it alone.

Our Team is coming together in a very special way. Each week, our chemistry grows stronger, our trust in one another continues to develop, and our culture becomes more meaningful. We are learning that championship Teams are not built around one individual—they are built when every person understands their role, embraces it, and gives everything they have to make the people around them better.

Vic is unquestionably one of our leaders, but what makes her leadership so impactful is that she recognizes the importance of her teammates. Their effort pushes her. Their commitment motivates her. Their success matters to her.

That is what being a Team is all about.

We still have work to do. We still have goals to chase. And we still have a long road ahead of us—not only through this Fall season, but into the Spring.

But something special is happening with this group.

We are building something together.

And when a Team begins to believe in one another, trust one another, and challenge one another to be better every day, the possibilities become limitless."
