Lindsborg, Kan. – The Friends University Men's and Women's Tennis Falcons broke out in a big way in earning multiple medals across the board this weekend at the KCAC Fall Championships in Lindsborg, Kan.

Highlighting the Falcon victories was Silva Avakian capturing first place in the KCAC No. 1 Women's Singles draw. The Pasadena, Calif. native wasn't done and also teamed with Carlotta Klee to finish third in the No. 1 Women's Doubles draw.

Also on the women's side, Aneth Diaz posted a top three result in the No. 2 Women's Singles competition.

For the Falcon Men, Cristobal Fuentes and Gabriel Gomes came out top in the No. 1 Men's Doubles draw, while Gomes came in third in the No. 2 Men's event.

Both Falcon tennis teams will next be in action Tuesday (Sept. 23) at Pratt Community College at 1 pm in Pratt, Kan.
