WICHITA, Kan. – The Friends University Falcons celebrated Senior Night with a 32-15 victory over the York University Panthers in a KCAC dual tonight (Feb. 6) inside the Garvey Center.
In earlier action, the Falcon Women also won an exhibition on Senior Night 25-24 over Northern Oklahoma College-Tonkawa, highlighted by an individual victory by senior Gianna Moreno.
All three seniors for the Falcon Men were victorious, with Junior Camacho starting the night with a pinfall at the 4:46 mark over Barrett Stickleman. Jake Knowles also won a 12-0 majority decision over Kade Wersland and Braden Morgan defeated Marce Vasquez by a 4-2 decision to close out the victory for Friends.
Additionally, the Falcons got big wins from Thomas Vasquez, Ezavian Ortega, Benedict Holthaus and Jason Bowers.
The Women's Falcons are next scheduled to be in action at the Warrior Open Saturday (Feb. 8) in Fremont, Neb., while the Falcon Men will host Newman University Wednesday night (Feb. 12) at 7 pm.
