WICHITA, Kan. – The (RV) University of Saint Mary Spires came away with a 38-11 win over the (RV) Friends University Falcons in a KCAC dual today (Feb. 15) inside the Garvey Center.

In perhaps the most anticipated match of the day, No. 10-ranked Gianna Moreno squared off with No. 15 Araya Boday in the 138-pound class.  It was as expected, a tightly contested match that Moreno led 14-10 until Boday rallied and secured a late pinfall in the second period for the win.

Heidi Schultz then delivered a win for the Falcons in the 145-pound class with a pinfall victory over Allison King.

No. 14-ranked Bailee Nelson was also in action for Friends, falling in a technical fall decision to Hannah Henderson.

The Falcons will now prepare for the KCAC Tournament, set for Mar. 1 in Kansas City, Mo.
