Means earns KCAC Women’s Wrestler of the Week nod

WICHITA, Kan. – Friends University freshman Alexis Means has been named the KCAC Women's Wrestler of the Week, the conference office announced today (Nov. 10).

Means stormed to the victory in the 145-pound division of the Ottawa Open last Saturday (Nov. 8), winning all five matches by technical fall for the Falcons.

The Wichita native's five matches lasted only a combined total of 9 minutes and 23 seconds.

"I can't say enough about Lexi Means," said first-year Friends women's wrestling head coach Austin Zaring. "She brings another level to what it means to be committed. This performance is a product of that. This is the first of many accolades for her here at Friends."
