Dodge City, Kan. – The Friends University Women's Golf Falcons recorded a third-place result at the KCAC Match Play at the Mariah Hills Golf Course in Dodge City, Kan.
The Falcons fell 3-2 to Evangel in the first round, getting wins from Charleigh Haskins and Rylin Wells.
Friends then bounced back big and pitched a shutout over York University 5-0, with Wells, Price, Lindsay McBride and Victoria Hofmann winning their matches and Haskins being credited with a walkover victory.
Lindsay McBride was also the individual leader in stroke play for Friends.
This event wraps up the fall season as the Falcons will now begin preparations for the spring season, starting with the Friends Invitational on Mar. 9-10 at the Crestview Country Club (South Course) in Wichita.
