KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Friends University Falcons defeated the Avila University Eagles 29-21 in a KCAC dual in Kansas City, Mo.

The Falcons' first win was by Trinity Motter, who bumped up to 110 pounds and won by pinfall in just 47 seconds.

Technical fall wins by Gianna Moreno and Heidi Schultz were followed by walk-over wins from Alondra Guzman-Tarango, Bailee Nelson and Karla Martinez to close out the win for Friends.

The Falcons will next face Ottawa University in a dual Friday evening (Jan. 17) at 7 pm in Ottawa, Kan.
