WICHITA, Kan. – The Avila University Eagles came away with a 28-10 win over the Friends University Falcons in tonight's KCAC Women's Wrestling dual inside the Garvey Center.

The Eagles won the first four bouts of the night until Gianna Moreno (136 pounds) broke the streak with a dominant technical fall victory. Bailee Nelson (170 pounds) then won an open match for the Falcons' other win of the evening.

Makenzie Buyno (123 pounds) controlled much of her match and led 12-6 before Julia Datus rallied and scored a pinfall win.

The Falcons will next be at York University next Tuesday (Feb. 6) in York, Neb. for the final conference dual before the KCAC Championships on Feb. 24.
