WICHITA, Kan. – Coming off consecutive KCAC regular season championships, 11 Friends University Falcons have been selected to the 2026 KCAC Preseason All-Bissell Division Preseason Team, the conference office announced today.
The Falcons, the highest scoring four-year college football team in the nation last season at 54.2 ppg, won a program record 12 games and advanced to the NAIA FCS quarterfinals for the first time in school history.
Under head coach Terry Harrison, the Falcons will begin the 2026 campaign at Bethany College on Aug. 29 before hosting Avila University at Adair-Austin Stadium for the home opener on Sept. 5.
The 11 Falcons selected to the KCAC Preseason All-Bissell Division Team are listed below:
RB - E'derian Sykes (2025 First-team All-KCAC, VSN NAIA All-America honorable-mention)
FB - Nick Cordova (First-team All-KCAC)
TE - Samuel Becker (Second-team All-KCAC)
OL - Kyree Watkins (KCAC Offensive Lineman of the Year, first-team All-KCAC, first-team AFCA All-American, first-team VSN NAIA All-American, Walter Camp NAIA All-American)
OL - Connor Herman (Contributed as a freshman to the Falcons breaking their own NAIA single-season record with 5,979 rushing yards)
DL - Leshaon Davis (8.5 tackles for loss, two sacks last season)
LB - Cooper Skrobecki (49 tackles, 7.0 tackles for loss, two sacks)
LB - Tyson Wallace (Second-team All-KCAC)
DB - Wetu Kalomo (Third-team All-KCAC)
UTL/All-Purpose/Punt Return Specialist - Michael Lopez (Second-team All-KCAC as RB, averaged 17.6 yards per punt return with one TD)
K/P - Connor Tillman (Averaged 38.3 yards per punt, placed seven punts inside the 20)
