WICHITA, Kan. – The Friends University Falcons have been picked eighth in the Victory Sports Network Preseason Top 25, announced yesterday (Aug. 6) by the VSN's Jason Dannelly.
The Falcons are coming off their second straight KCAC regular season title and the furthest advancement in the NAIA FCS (quarterfinals) in program history.
Under head coach Terry Harrison, the Falcons won a program record 12 games last season and finished the season as the highest scoring four-year college team in the nation at 54.2 ppg.
Friends is the highest of four KCAC schools placed in the preseason rankings, with McPherson ranked 15th, Evangel 21st and Southwestern tabbed 25th.
