Asheville, N.C. – The Friends University Falcons are bringing a strong group into Asheville, N.C. for this week's NAIA National Championship meet at the Karl Straus Track.
The Falcon Men are fresh off a KCAC Outdoor championship after also winning the conference indoor title, while the Falcon Women were the league runner-up at both the indoor and outdoor meets.
At the NAIA Indoor championships, Carter Giittinger won the national championship and was an All-American in the Men's Heptathlon and was joined in All-America recognition by Tiyna Ridge, who came within .01 seconds of winning the national title in the Women's 60 Meter Dash. Both are among a stout contingent of Falcons that will compete at this week's national competition.
The NAIA Outdoor Track & Field National Championship is scheduled to begin Wednesday (May 20) and run through Friday (May 22). Check out the links below to follow the Falcons in action!
