"I think this tournament will be key in shaping the remainder of our season," said Friends men's golf head coach Dustin Galyon. "There were areas of our play and focus that were fantastic and there were areas that we will correct immediately. We had several guys compete at a high level and that was great! We have room to improve in several areas and I think mentally we have another gear we will get to.
Gabriele was fantastic. His maturity and play were evident all week and he deserved to win this tournament. Jack Cubitt had a great bounce-back round after last tourney! Laken and Ben both had fantastic first and second rounds. We have several key takeaways from this one and we will be better moving forward from it!"
Next up for Friends is The Battle on Mar. 23-24 in Laughlin, Nev.
