Box Score WICHITA, Kan. -- The Friends University Men's and Women's Tennis Falcons fell to the Oklahoma Wesleyan University Eagles by identical scores of 6-1 yesterday (Mar. 9) at the Riverside Tennis Center in Wichita. 

In singles play, Friends picked up its sole win at No. 1 singles, with Silva Avakian defeating Rocio Lisette Espinal, 6-0, 6-2. 

Oklahoma Wesleyan also secured the doubles point with victories across all three courts.

On the men's side, Oklahoma Wesleyan secured the doubles point with victories on courts two and three. The Falcon win in doubles came 6-2 behind Gabriel Gomes and Cristobal Fuentes. 

In singles, the Eagles extended its lead with Roman Gonzales-Leeks' 6-2, 7-5 victory over Fuentes at No. 1 singles. The Falcons responded at No. 2 singles, where Gomes triumphed over Raphael Alvado in a three-set match, 6-4, 3-6, 7-3. But the Eagles took the next four singles matches to clinch the win.
