WICHITA, Kan. – With the 2025-26 college football season ending with the Indiana University Hoosiers winning the NCAA FBS National Championship last night (Jan. 19) over the University of Miami, one team stands alone as the highest scoring team in all of four-year college football and that is none other than the Friends University Falcons.
The Falcons averaged 54.2 ppg, ahead of NCAA D-II Ferris State University (52.8 ppg) and NAIA and KCAC member Southwestern College (51.9 ppg).
Under head coach Terry Harrison, the Falcons were honored at Wichita City Hall this morning after completing a season for the ages. The Falcons won a program record 12 games and advanced to the NAIA FCS quarterfinals for the first time in school history.
Friends was dominant on both sides of the ball, breaking their own NAIA single-season rushing record with 5,979 rushing yards and ranking third in the NAIA in points allowed per game (13.8 ppg) and tied for first in sacks (41) in addition to leading the entire nation in points per game.
