WICHITA, Kan. – Friends University sophomore Victoria Hofmann has been chosen to the All-KCAC Women's Golf team as a first-team selection, the conference announced tonight (Apr. 20). The All-KCAC teams were voted on by the KCAC head coaches prior to the women's golf conference championship this week.
A three-time KCAC Women's Golfer of the Week, Hofmann opened the 2024-25 season by winning the individual title of the Carmichael Cup in Salina, Kan. to power the Falcons to the team championship and win her first career conference weekly award.
A native of Frankfurt, Germany, Hofmann also recorded a runner-up finish at the Crestview Spring Invitational – Paul Howe Memorial and then a fourth-place result at the Hesston GC Shootout in the Falcons' past two tourneys to receive two more weekly honors.
"Victoria is very deserving of this," said Paige Barnes, Friends women's golf interim head coach. "She has worked hard all year to get to where she is now. She loves the game, and all of her work is showing in tournaments."
Hofmann and the Falcons will play in the KCAC Women's Golf Championship this week (Apr. 21-23) at the Twin Hills Country Club in Joplin, Mo.
