WICHITA, Kan. – The Friends University Women's Golf squad posted a second-place finish at the Crestview Spring Invitational – Paul Howe Memorial that wrapped up today (Mar. 11) at the Crestview Country Club. The tournament was penned after women's golf coach Paul Howe, who tragically passed away last November.
The Falcons shot +126 as a team, 22 strokes behind first-place Southwestern College.
Victoria Hofmann shot +17 to finish second individually and lead the Falcons' efforts.
Greenlee Lindsey (+33) came in tied for eighth, followed by Sydney Thompson (+39) in a tie for 11th.
Rylin Wells (+40) was tied for 13th, while Lindsay McBride (+47) finished 19th overall.
Taylor Price (+43) and Charleigh Haskins (+68) also competed as individuals for the Falcons.
The Women's Golf Falcons will next play in the NSIC Tourney on Mar. 24-25 at the Adams Pointe Golf Club in Blue Springs, Mo.
