The Friends University Falcon tennis teams showcased resilience and strong individual performances in their latest matches, with the men's team narrowly falling 3-4 and the women falling 1-6.
On the men's side, Cristobal Fuentez was dominant at #1 singles, securing a commanding 6-1, 6-2 win. Augusto Silva Morais added another key singles victory, taking down his opponent in straight sets, 6-2, 6-3. In doubles, the pair of Gabriel Gomez and Cristobal Fuentez delivered a thrilling 7-6 win, while Connor Fitzsimmons and Augusto Silva Morais also claimed a hard-fought 7-6 victory.
On the women's side, Aneth Diaz shined in singles play, grinding out a marathon 7-6, 5-7, 7-5 win. Silvia Avakian and Carlotta Klee pushed their doubles opponents in a tight 6-4 match, while Carlotta Klee fought through three sets in singles before narrowly falling.
