Leavenworth, Kan. – The Friends University Competitive Cheer Falcons recorded a second-place finish at the KCAC Championship today (Mar. 14) at the University of Saint Mary in Leavenworth, Kan. The Dance Falcons came in sixth place at the event.
The Cheer Falcons saved their best for last, posting a season-high score of 80.75 to finish behind Saint Mary's winning score of 86.68.
On the dance side, the Falcons produced a score of 62.23 for the team's second highest score of the season. Saint Mary also won the dance competition with a score of 74.42.
For the second straight season, the Competitive Cheer Falcons came in second in the conference after winning the league the previous two seasons.
