KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Friends University Falcons have climbed into the No. 24 spot in the first regular season NAIA Top 25 Rating, the national office announced today (Nov. 6). The Falcons received votes in the preseason rating.
The Falcons opened the 2025-26 season at their annual Falcon Open this past weekend in Park City, Kan.
The event featured several strong finishes for Friends, highlighted by Braydon Pacheco earning KCAC Men's Wrestler of the Week honors after advancing to the championship match in the 125-pound division. Logan Davidson also recorded a third-place finish in the 197-pound division and Wyatt Gardner made it to the third-place match in the 141-pound class.
Under head coach Tyler Mies, the Falcons will next be in action on Nov. 12 in a dual at Newman University at 7 pm in Wichita.
