WICHITA, Kan. – The Friends University Competitive Cheer Falcons, winners of two of the past three KCAC championships, began the 2025 season on the right note with a victory in today's (Jan. 18) Falcon Invite inside the Garvey Center.
Head coach Joshua Johnson's group topped Ottawa University and Langston University with a winning score of 74.41.
The Competitive Dance Falcons opened the second season under head coach Taylor Staley with a score of 56.13 to finish seventh.
Both programs will next compete at the Kansas Wesleyan Coyote Classic on Jan. 31 at 4 pm in Salina, Kan.
