North Newton, Kan. – Hailey Roberson came in fifth overall to help the Friends University Falcons finish fourth as a team today (Sept. 14) at the Muthama-Rogers Cross Country Invitational in North Newton, Kan.
Roberson, a freshman from Amarillo, Texas, ran a 20:29.9 to match her time from her first career race last weekend at the Wichita State JK Gold Classic.
Gabrielle Schwabe (20:55.7) finished just outside the top 10 in 11th, followed by Grace Lee (21:50.6) in 23rd.
Hannah Cribley (22:17.1) was right behind in 26th, with Gwendolyn Copeland (23:28.7) rounding out the Falcons' top five finishers in 44th.
As a team, the Falcons recorded an average time of 21:48.
The Falcon Cross Country Women will next compete at the Carol Swenson Invitational on Oct. 12 in McPherson, Kan.
