12 XC/Track & Field Falcons earn CSC Academic All-District recognition

WICHITA, Kan. -- The Friends University Falcons have placed 12 cross country/track & field student-athletes on the Academic All-District team, announced today (June 23) by the College Sports Communicators. The six honorees for both the men and women are the maximum recipients for this award.

To be nominated for this honor, the student-athlete must have a minimum 3.5 cumulative grade-point-average and be at least a sophomore in academic and athletic standing. The student-athlete must also record a Top 25 individual conference performance (indoor or outdoor) based off TFRRS performance list rankings.

Those with the highest athletic credentials move on to the Academic All-America ballot, set to be announced on July 14 for the men and July 15 for the women.
