WICHITA, Kan. – The Friends University men's and women's basketball teams have placed a combined five student-athletes on the 2025-26 NAIA Academic All-District team, presented by the College Sports Communicators, the organization has announced.

Al Emerllahu and Owen Evans earn the award for the Falcon Men, while KK Peeler, Anna Sant'Anna and Katie Weiss represent the Falcon Women's honorees.

To be nominated for this award, the student-athlete must have a minimum 3.5 cumulative grade-point-average, be at least a sophomore in both academic and athletic standing and participate in 90 % of the team's games OR start at least 66 % of the team's games.
