WICHITA, Kan. – Friends University senior Bernie Socarras has been selected as a first-team All-KCAC performer, the conference office has announced. Additionally, Elijah Morales, Miles Hartman and Seve Sissac were second-team all-conference selections.
Socarras once again anchored the Falcon offensive attack, leading the team for the second straight season with a KCAC-high .423 batting average. He also tied for the team with 61 RBIs along with eight home runs and a team-high .523 on-base percentage. Socarras also received a Gold Glove award after making no errors in 111 total chances primarily in right field this season.

Hartman raised his game to another level this season, increasing his batting average from .294 last year to .327 in 2026. He also hit four more home runs (five) and drove in 13 more runs (45) compared to last season for Friends while adding another Gold Glove to his resume following another season of stellar defensive work at shortstop.
Sissac gave the Falcons a dependable arm in the bullpen, holding opposing batters to a .240 batting average with an outstanding 27-12 strikeout to walk ratio.
The Falcons, under head coach Adam Neisius, enjoyed a modern-era record 12-game winning streak this season and entered the KCAC Tournament as the fourth seed with a 23-13 conference record. Friends finished the 2026 campaign with a 30-23 overall record.
