Maryville, Mo. — The Friends University Falcons tuned up one final time before the KCAC Championship meet this weekend at the Bearcat Invite at Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, Mo.
The meet was highlighted by the continued standout performances by Tiyna Ridge and Fien Molenberg.
Ridge won the Women's 60 Meter run and hit the NAIA A standard for the fifth time this season, finishing just shy of breaking her own school and KCAC record with a time of 7.43. Ridge is still atop the KCAC and is second in the NAIA in the event this season.
In just her second time running the 800 Meters, Molenberg shattered her previous mark by more than four seconds with a time of 2:14.37 to hit the NAIA A Standard.

Ridge also led the preliminaries with a time of 7.52 seconds, demonstrating consistent performance throughout the event.
Freshman Isabella Garito cleared 3.42 meters in the Women's Pole Vault, securing a tie for seventh place. Garito's performance marked an impressive showing in her first year of competition at this level.
Ashlyn Hubbard, a sophomore, achieved a clearance of 3.27 meters in the Women's Pole Vault, tying for ninth place.
Senior Aaliyah Ramirez also participated in the Women's Pole Vault, also achieving a height of 3.27 meters, which placed her in a tie for 13th.
On the men's side, Spencer Hines secured a sixth-place finish in the men's 600 yards with a time of 1:12.62. His performance was a key showing for Friends University, just ahead of teammate Ian Russell, who placed seventh at 1:13.15.
Carter Giittinger demonstrated his versatility by placing 18th in the men's 60 hurdles preliminaries with a time of 8.63. He also achieved a 12th place finish in the men's pole vault, clearing a height of 4.53 meters.
Denzel Nyamwela completed the men's 600 yards in 1:14.15, earning 15th place.
Matthew Bryant participated in the men's 60 meters preliminaries, finishing 40th with a time of 7.05 seconds.
The KCAC Indoor Track & Field championships are set for next weekend (Feb. 13-14) at the Heskett Center on the campus of Wichita State University.
