KANSAS CITY, Mo. – For the second straight season, Friends University junior Trinton Nobles has been selected as an NAIA All-American, this time as a third-team selection, the national office announced today (May 29).
Also a two-time KCAC Player of the Year, Nobles powered the Falcons to their third consecutive KCAC championship this season that resulted in the program's third straight NAIA National Championship appearance. In the KCAC win, Nobles finished tied for second overall behind teammate and individual winner Tomas Vazquez.
A native of McKinney, Texas, Nobles compiled a solid scoring average of 71.5 with five top three finishes during the 2024-25 season, highlighted by winning the individual title in the competitive Northwest Iowa Invitational back in September.
"Trinton is very deserving of this award," said Friends men's golf head coach Dustin Galyon. "This is a reflection of the work and focus he has put in this year! To have back-to-back All-American honors over the past two years in incredible."
