WICHITA, Kan. – Friends University junior Trinton Nobles continues to be the class of the conference and for the second straight season has been named the KCAC Men's Golf Player of the Year, the conference office announced tonight (Apr. 27).

Additionally, Nobles, along with Trenton Sutherland and Tomas Vazquez, have earned All-KCAC first team honors while Caleb Knight was selected as an all-conference second team performer.

A native of McKinney, Texas, Nobles has been as steady as they come this season, compiling an average score of 71.4 with one tourney victory and four top three finishes.

The individual title for Nobles came in the fall at the competitive Northwest Iowa Invitational where he posted a score of -3 to win by two strokes.

Sutherland also has an individual title to his name after winning the Crestview Spring Invitational on the second playoff hole with a final score of -7. The Arkansas City, Kan. native similarly has posted four top three results with a solid average score of 72.1.

Vazquez saved his best for last this season, recording a season-best runner-up finish at the Falcon Cup last week, with Knight producing a pair of top three finishes at the KCAC Match Play event and the Crestview Spring Invitational.

"These guys are very deserving of these awards!" said Friends men's golf head coach Dustin Galyon. "They continue to work in a detailed manner for continued improvement. I'm proud of those named and not named."

Under Galyon's leadership, the Falcons will be aiming for their third straight KCAC championship starting tomorrow (Apr. 28) at the Buffalo Dunes Golf Course in Garden City, Kan.
