Box Score McPherson, Kan. - Friends Falcons Men's Soccer team needed to grab a road win against the Bulldogs of McPherson to advance to the postseason. McPherson grabbed the lead first in the half with a goal in the 19th minute to put the pressure on the Falcons. Andres Michael Xibilia would score for the Falcons right after to knot the match up at one a piece. Falcons would go into half tied with the Bulldogs 1-1. 
 
The Falcons would start the half off strong offensively with tons of shot attempts, but this is the story of the Falcons offense this season. Tons of shots and opportunities, however not many chances where the offense capitalizes and scores. McPherson would score two consecutive goals in the 77th minute to eventually take the wind out of the Falcons' sails. The final score would be 3-1 in favor of the Bulldogs as the Friends Falcons would cap off their season with a record of (4-12-2) and a conference record of (4-7-2). 
 
Individually the Falcons leading scorer was Senior F, Sora Shibata, with 11 goals on the season for Friends. Shibata would also play in all 18 games this season for the Falcons. Defenseman Andres Michael Xibilia would score six goals for the Falcons as well as holding up the back end. Sophomore Jose Quiel would have his career high in assists this season with a total of five, totaling four his freshman season. Arturo Pombo-Palomero was the primary goalkeeper for the Falcons this season playing in 15 games and logging 1124 minutes. He had 2.00    GAA and 44 saves on the season for Friends.
 
This final may have ended the Falcons season, but the players fought hard, showed pride to the University, and will remain to walk with Christ beyond their athletics. See all 2025 stats above!
