Box Score MCPHERSON, Kan. — The Friends University Falcons wrapped up their regular season with a dominant 3–0 road victory over the McPherson College Bulldogs on Saturday (Nov. 1), extending their winning streak to seven. The win pushes Friends to a 12–3–3 overall record and 10–1–2 mark in KCAC play as they head into the postseason as the No. 2 seed. 
The Falcons' attack was in full stride, recording 15 total shots, including nine on target. Paige Putter opened the scoring in the 14th minute, giving Friends an early 1–0 advantage that held through halftime. Early in the second half, Kieley Aranda doubled the lead with her team-leading 12th goal of the season. The Falcons capped off the afternoon with a third goal in the 72nd minute as Mackenzie Cunningham found the back of the net off an assist from Elisa Murrietta. 
Friends displayed offensive balance, with 11 different players recording shots. Anahi Ibarra-Arevalo led the Falcons with three shots, including one on goal.  
Defensively, the Falcons held strong, holding the Bulldogs to just four total shots. Goalkeeper Morgan Wilkinson recorded two saves to secure her seventh shutout of the season, anchoring another strong team performance on the back line. 
With the win, Friends secured the No. 2 seed in the KCAC Women's Soccer Championship Tournament. The Falcons will open postseason play on Wednesday (Nov. 5), hosting the No. 7 seed, the Southwestern College Moundbuilders, in the quarterfinals at Adair-Austin Stadium. The two teams previously played to a 0-0 draw in the regular season.  
The Falcons will look to keep their momentum rolling against the Moundbuilders, with kickoff scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at Adair-Austin Stadium.
