Box Score Wichita, Kan. - Friends Falcons Men's Soccer played at Adair-Austin Stadium for a match against a tough defensive Evangel Valor squad. The Valor goalkeeper, Davide Marzoli would up his save percentage and grab his 6th shutout of the season. Valor would score early to start this game, Hayes Van Breusegen, Evangel's leading goalscorer would grab his 6th goal of the season. In the 7th minute the Valor would get a 1-0 lead.
This bout was physical from wire to wire with both teams trying to gain leverage going into the postseason. 25 total fouls in this game and even a red card given out to the Falcons. Falcons held control of the ball throughout the first half, but the Valor defense was very stingy with blocks and clearing the ball. Falcons would go into the half down 1-0 with ten shots to Evangel's three.
The Falcons had chance after chance in the second half but just could not capitalize. In the 67th minute Sora Shibata and Jayden Phrakonkham had back to back chances but both were saved by the talented keeper. The Falcons totaled 19 shots tonight out shooting Valors seven.
