Salina, Kan. -- The Friends University Competitive Cheer Falcons came in second today (Jan. 31) at the Kansas Wesleyan Coyote Classic, with the Falcon Competitive Dance squad recording a fourth-place finish.
Missouri Valley College won the cheer title, with the Falcons' score of 74.4 good for a runner-up showing.
On the dance side, the Falcons' posted a score of 55, while the host Coyotes came out on top in the competition.
Both the Falcon competitive cheer and dance programs are slated to compete next Friday (Feb. 7) at York University in York, Neb.
