WICHITA, Kan. – Three Friends University Softball Falcons have received Academic All-District recognition, presented by the College Sports Communicators, the organization has announced.
To be nominated for this award, the student-athlete must have a minimum 3.5 cumulative grade-point-average, be at least a sophomore in academic and athletic standing, and participate in 90 % of the team's games/contests/sets OR start at least 66 % of the team's games/contests/sets. For Baseball and Softball pitchers, the criteria is a minimum 17 appearances or 25 innings pitched.
* Those with the highest athletic credentials move on to the Academic All-America ballot, set to be announced on June 18.
