KANSAS CITY, Mo. – 19 Friends University Athletic programs have received the NAIA Scholar Team award, the national office announced today (Sept. 15) as part of its annual NAIA National Awards Day. That number for the Falcons is up from the 15 teams that earned the award last season.

To qualify for the NAIA Scholar Team award, the team must maintain a minimum 3.0 grade point average.
