Manheim, Pa. – Friends University freshman Elli Turner has received the 2024 NAIA Women's Scholar All-American award, presented by the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA).

To be nominated for this honor, the student-athlete must meet one of the following criteria:

·         All American, top eight finishers in the NAIA individual national championship tournament, and 3.0 CGPA at the certifying institution.

·         National qualifier as determined by the NAIA, and a 3.25 CGPA.

·         Conference qualifier participant, and a 3.5 CGPA.

·         Wrestled in at least five dates of competition, as listed in Track Wrestling.

Turner, a Hinton, Okla. native, majors in Health and Physical Education at Friends.
