Salina, Kan. – The Kansas Wesleyan University Coyotes came away with a 1-0 win over the Friends University Falcons in KCAC action this evening (Oct. 26) in Salina, Kan.
The Falcons are now 4-7-5 overall and 4-4-3 in the KCAC.
The only goal of the match came on a penalty kick by Noel Zimbeva at the 29:05 mark of the first half.
That proved to be enough for the Coyotes to hold off the Falcons, with KWU holding edges of 15-4 in overall shot attempts and 4-2 on-goal.
Stryker Kelly made a pair of stops for the Falcons, while Santiago Pagnutti also made two saves for KWU (9-4-2, 7-2-2 KCAC).
The Falcons are next at Avila University Wednesday evening (Oct. 30) at 6 pm in Kansas City, Mo.
