Winfield, Kan. – The Southwestern College Lady Builders scored the only goal of the match in a 1-0 upset win over the Friends University Falcons this evening (Oct. 16) in Winfield, Kan.

The Falcons and Lady Builders battled to a scoreless draw until Ella Wiechman broke through with a score at the 63:31 mark to give Southwestern the win.

Friends did outshoot Southwestern 10-3 overall and 5-2 on-goal, led by three shots each from Lina Willemsen and Keily Larosee.

Morgan Wilkinson stopped one shot for the Falcons (9-4, 6-2 KCAC) and Hayden Clark made five saves for the Lady Builders (3-6-3, 3-2-3 KCAC).

The Falcons will next host York University for Senior Day Saturday (Oct. 19) at 3 pm at Adair-Austin Stadium.
