Taylor Staley is entering her second season as head coach of the Friends University competitive dance program and also serves as an assistant coach for the Falcon competitive cheer team under head coach Joshua Johnson. 

Staley brings well-rounded experience to the Falcons, having been involved in dance since she was four years old while currently teaching at the Newton Performing Arts Center where she also choreographs for the dance team.

A Newton, Kan. native, Staley has taught dance for the past 11 years and has performed nationally, highlighted by a tour of Mexico with the Wichita Contemporary Dance Theatre and Alithea Mime Theatre.

Staley received her bachelor's degree in dance performance from Wichita State University and also serves as an adjunct professor in dance at Butler Community College.
