Friends University

Taylor Mounts is in her first season as the Director of Student-Athlete Academic Success at Friends University.

Prior to Friends, Mounts was the Director of Student-Athlete Engagement for the North Star Athletic Association from 2023-24.

She also served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Business at Valley City State University from 2021-24, where she was selected as Teacher of the Year in 2023.

Additionally at VCSU, Mounts was an assistant volleyball coach for two seasons.

Born in Clovis, Calif., Mounts played collegiately for the Harding University (Ark.) volleyball team as an outside hitter for four seasons. At Harding, Mounts was a Great American Conference (GAC) honorable-mention performer and a three-time GAC All-Academic honoree.

Mounts earned both a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration from Harding.
