Friends University

Maurice Rucker is entering his third season as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Friends University and works primarily with the volleyball and women's basketball teams.

Rucker initially entered the training field while at Modesto (Calif.) Junior College in 2016.  

Also a native of Modesto, Calif., Rucker then attended Sterling College and graduated in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training. Rucker also played football both at Modesto and Sterling.  

Rucker's training experience includes working the 2021 NAIA National Championship track meet this past season and also the 2018 NAIA national wrestling meet.
