Madilynn Sanderholm was recently hired as the new competitive dance head coach at Friends University.
Sanderholm brings an impressive array of both dancing and instructing experience to Friends, having served as Choreographer for a variety of Professional, University, College & High School Dance Teams while recently competing as a member of the Wichita Thunder Girls Professional Dance Team.
Collegiately, Sanderholm competed at both Cowley College and Pittsburg State University, serving as a captain for the PSU Crimson & Gold Dance Team as a senior during the 2023-24 season.
On a professional level, Sanderholm most recently held the role of Coordinator of Student Activities at Wichita State University. Responsibilities with that position included coordinating and implementing on- and off-campus initiatives to drive student and community engagement along with using social media and email campaigns to promote campus programs.
In addition to her dance head coach duties, Sanderholm is also slated to serve as assistant coach for the Friends competitive cheer program under head coach Joshua Johnson.
