Friends University

Kyler King enters his sixth year at Friends University as an Assistant Athletic Trainer. He primarily works with Women’s and Men’s Soccer, Men’s Basketball and Softball.

King came to Friends University after spending two years at Oklahoma Wesleyan University as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer and studying to obtain a Master of Business Administration degree.

King is a 2015 graduate of Sterling College, where he received a Bachelor’s degree in athletic training before taking the board certification exam to become a Certified Athletic Trainer.

Originally from Independence, Kansas, King got his start in athletic training by attending Independence Community College and obtaining an associate of science degree before transferring to Sterling.

He also played collegiate golf and attended the NJCAA National Tournament in 2011.
