Friends University

Kayla Allen is now in her second season as the Assistant AD of Operations for the Friends University Athletic Department. 

Prior to that appointment, Allen served as an Administration Graduate Assistant Intern, including one year as both an Administrative and Sports Information Director GA.

Allen oversees all home game operations in her role, including managing major external events such as the NAIA Basketball Opening Rounds and the NJCAA Region VI basketball tournament hosted at Friends.  As an Admin GA, she also served as the official game admin for all home soccer and baseball events. 

In her SID GA role in the 2021-22 season, Allen assisted with cross country, tennis and golf while serving as a co-host on the "Talking with Friends" podcast.

As a student-athlete, Allen competed for the Falcon cross country and track and field teams, earning an NAIA All-America nod in the Race Walk while helping the program capture multiple KCAC indoor and outdoor championships.
